Bruce lab publishes cryo-EM structure of PSI

The lab of Barry Bruce published a paper, Cryo-EM structure of a tetrameric photosystem I from Chroococcidiopsis, a thermophilic, unicellular, non-heterocyst-forming cyanobacterium, in the journal Plant Communications. Results from this study provide insights into the evolution of PSI as well as how the tetrameric complex forms and functions. This was a multi-lab and multinational effort that included current BCMB graduate student  Jyotirmoy Mondal and former student Meng Li.
