Deepika Nambiar, graduate student in the Howell Lab, won the audience choice award at the ASBMB Science in a Flash Communication contest held at the ASBMB 2019 meeting in Orlando. The contest had 60 applicants from all over the world with
Deepika one of the top 10 chosen for the talk. She was awarded the audience choice award which was one of two awards for the contest.
