In a collaboration with researchers at the UT Health Science Center, Jerome Baudry (former BCMB faculty member), Karan Kapoor (former GST student), and Jeremy Smith published an article evaluating how gallates affect G-protein coupled receptor 6A. This article entitled GPCR6A is a Molecular Target for the Natural Products Gallate and EGCG in Green Tea was published in the journal Molecular Nutrition & Food Research
