The Labrador Lab Publishes in Gene

The laboratory of Dr. Mariano Labrador recently published A Drosophila insulator interacting protein suppresses enhancer-blocking function and modulates replication timing in the journal Gene.  This article provides links between specific insulator protein complexes and cell cycle progression and involved the research of several former BCMB graduate students- Emily Stow, Ryan Simmons (now a postdoc with Dr. Jianbin Wang in BCMB), Ran An and Todd Schoborg.
