Two BCMB Undegrads Presented Research at the 2017 Posters at the Capitol Event in Nashville

Two BCMB undergraduate students represented the University of Tennessee-Knoxville at the 2017 Posters at the Capitol on 1 March 2017 in Nashville. Rena Abdurehman from the Bruce lab presented a poster on her research examining protein trafficking in plastids. Clayton Nunn from the Roberts lab presented his research on the role of NIP2;1 during hypoxia stress. They were amongst a group of eight students selected to represent the UT-Knoxville at this event. This was the 12th annual poster event and involved students from colleges and universities statewide. During the event, students got to meet with state legislators.
